Hammertown Lake, Jackson, Ohio,
We’ll be using the large picnic shelter near the boat ramp on the inside curve of the lake. To get there:
Take OH-32 West to Jackson OH, Exit at OH-93, and turn RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp.
Continue north on OH-93 approx 1.5 miles to South Street (Wendy’s will be on your right, and a Speedway across the intersection to your slight left. I’d suggest making a “pit stop” in town before going to the Lake, though there are pit-facilities there.)
Turn LEFT onto South Street, and continue straight, out of town.
Continue 2-3 miles, cross railroad tracks, and take an IMMEDIATE LEFT after the tracks. Road name becomes “Jisco-West”.
Continue 2-3 miles, watch for Hammertown Lake Road to your RIGHT. Turn RIGHT onto Hammertown Lake Road.
Continue into the park, be careful of the sharp curve by the cemetery.
Meet at the picnic shelter.
